When you meet people like Allison & Carl you just know there is true love out there for everyone and it might not always be found right away! Not to get all cheesy but Carl & Allison were just absolutely made for each other and they fit so perfectly with what their love and passions are!
It was clear from the moment I met Allison and her daughter Jess on a lovely morning at Piccolino’s in Knutsford, Cheshire, that this wedding would be very untraditional and it was all about love, laughter, friends and family (the perfect day in my opinion) and being very natural, relaxed and that it was all about everyone having FUN and just enjoying each other’s company!
So fast forward to the beautiful, sunny morning of July 8th and all was calm at Great John Street Hotel as Allison was having her make up done whilst Carl was patiently waiting after a little shopping trip around town to go up and see his future Wife so they could calmly and excitedly get ready together for what I am sure was one of the best days of their lives with their 5 beautiful daughter’s and their families!
What followed was an emotional rollercoaster of a day with tears one minute to laughter the next (what every wedding should be) a day full of fizz, great food, amazing company, hugs, dancing and singalongs!
You really could not ask for a better wedding and I wish the new Mr & Mrs Devereaux all the best for their futures with their Daughters and family!

How did you meet/How long have you been together:
We met through mutual friends almost 11 years ago.
How did he pop the question:
On a beautiful Croatian island called Pakleni, at a restaurant called Zori just after sunset on the 10th anniversary of our first date. (tears all round from us both)

Start your planning early, be organised early and don’t revisit decisions once made, you could drive yourself mad.
