A Beautiful Berkshire Barn Wedding
When asked last year to capture Holly and Greg’s Berkshire wedding at the beautiful Monk’s Barn, I absolutely jumped at the chance and immediately said a big fat YES! Not only was Greg the son of such a dear friend of mine but everything about it sounded absolutely epic!
Holly and Greg were very keen on having a relaxed, natural and fun wedding and put a lot of effort into all the gorgeous details and decor at the barn and it looked absolutely stunning, they booked me for my documentary and relaxed photography style to capture all the laughter and memories their wedding would have to offer!
And boy, did this wedding offer more epic and fun than even I could imagine, full of tears, laughter, a boat entrance, juggling, lawn games and the cutest and most loved up pair ever!
A fun wedding day
The day started off calm and collected with lots of smiles and that scrambled egg on toast at a private house in Berkshire, whilst all the ladies had their makeup done and got into to their gorgeous dresses and gathered those beautiful flowers made by the super talented (and mother of the groom, my dear friend) Jules Floristry!
We all then headed off to Monk’s Barn, Holly going off to catch her boat and me to catch Greg and his groomsmen getting ready and putting the final touches to the barn when I arrived the boys were sweeping up and getting Greg’s younger brother Ben ready!
Finally, it was time for the Ceremony, which was full of smiles and emotions and you could not wipe the huge grins worn by Holly and Greg as they said their vows to each other, followed by lots of hugs and kisses by their guests!
The rest of the day was just pure fun from lawn games, amazing pies by the awesome Pieminister, fizz and lots of free drinks to bowls and raving!
