You may be due to go out for your pre-wedding or are already thinking about your magical photo’s on your wedding day and looking where you might like to go!
It could be somewhere local to your wedding venue that you can pop out for 20-30 minutes to capture those portraits or somewhere you might want to spend the afternoon having your pre-wedding session!
Here is a list of my favourite magical places I know of in Cheshire:
Tatton Park
Tatton Park is huge, meaning there is a magical place in lots of corners of this park. From woodland to lakes this place will definitely give you a rustic woodland, countryside look to your photo’s

Dunham Massey
Dunham Massey is another gorgeous country park full of deer, clock towers, cobbled paths and that Mansion. If you pop to just outside the walls of Dunham I give you the challenge of finding what I call the secret garden door!

Peckforton Castle
This place is truly magical, a real castle with tonnes of grounds. When I shot here we snuck out around the car park area and to the woodland side of the castle (if you speak with the organisers they should be able to point you in the right direction and as you will see it Is full of tall trees, greenery and mystery! (this place reminds me of Jurassic Park in certain parts hehe)

The Edge, Alderley
The Edge in Alderley is another great woodland retreat where you could have your pre-wedding session then pop into the local oldie world pub when you have finished to have a much deserved wine or beer!

Chester
You might decide you want a more street vibe or urban vibe for your photos and the best place to head is the city with the hustle and bustle, you might already be in Chester on your wedding day at venues such as Oddfellows and you can just pop out and grab those super cool shots or alternatively you might decide to have your pre-wedding session there and make a day of it with some mooching and a nice meal and drink either before or after your shoot!

Knutsford
You may be tying the knot at Belle Epoque in Knutsford centre and I highly encourage you to pop out and grab some photos on the streets there are some magical shops, alleyways and even greenery so you can have a bit of everything!

Swetenham Arms
This is one place I am yet to visit but I can tell by pictures I have seen it is truly awesome with its lavender fields and that is the Swetenham Arms, meaning you can grab those super cool colourful photos and then grab a cold beverage, this is a hidden treasure!
I hope this gives you some inspiration if you trying to decide where to have those portrtaits or pre-wedding session or even just a romantic day out!
All my love
