In my time as a wedding photographer, I get to visit and shoot at some amazing Cheshire wedding venues and I wanted to share my favourite with you to help you pick a venue that suits you and your style, from Barns to lodges and historical buildings, there is sure to be something to fit your theme and wow your guests!
1. Styal Lodge
Styal Lodge is a quirky, contemporary wedding venue, with wood cladding and high ceilings to hang those colourful pom pom’s set in the quaint village of Styal in the Cheshire countryside! Whenever I visit Styal Lodge, I am in awe of how they arrange things and how seamless they make a wedding day run, not just for Bride and Grooms but for us photographers too!
The lodge is fantastic for any style and you can put your stamp on this venue with little effort, it would suit modern and rustic weddings and the team are super friendly and accommodating! You will be ensured of a fun and easy wedding day at Styal Lodge!
Statham Lodge is a beautiful venue located in the heart of Lymm, Cheshire and I have to say this is one of my favourite venues to visit due to its gorgeous interiors and grounds which allow for amazing pictures! It is a fabulous eighteenth-century building with a long history but has been restored to hold special weddings and events and the great part is it is also has a specific bridal prep room for you and the girls to get ready in and celebrate and is a hotel where your guests and you can sleep after a fun and crazy wedding day!
The staff are extremely helpful and pay attention to all the details to make your day extra special, and I would highly recommend this venue if you are looking for somewhere with elegance and a stylish vibe for your modern wedding!
Heaton House Farm has made my list for a very good reason, this place is a hidden gem and when I have shot here, the atmosphere and vibe is incredible and so much fun! Heaton House is a former dairy farm which turned into a chic and contemporary wedding venue and it does not disappoint with its beams, beautiful marquee big enough to hold large weddings or accommodate smaller weddings, gorgeous gardens for those romantic portraits and their awesome dancefloor with a gorgeous night sky backdrop and disco lights!
This wedding venue will compliment many wedding themes with their pretty fairy lights, the white marquee with uplighting of your choice and chandeliers, whether you’re going for a rustic look or a modern, elegant look!
Next on my list is the unique and eclectic Owen House Wedding Barn which is hidden away in the Cheshire countryside a short distance from Knutsford and Mobberley. This Barn is a truly unique and charismatic little place perfect for a rustic wedding with its reclaimed wood, fairy lights and a perfect spot around the back with hay bales and quirky windows and trinkets with a whole wall made from reclaimed doors! (one of my faves) Owen House Wedding Barn has also just become a B&B with some awesome rooms for you and your guests and has it’s own little bridal shed, perfect for getting ready with the girls or boys!
I definitely wanted to save one of the best for last and this up and coming new venue is a fantastic addition to the Cheshire wedding venues, The Barn is a family run barn in the gorgeous High Legh! It is a blank canvas for a rustic, industrial wedding or a chic and modern wedding with a beautiful fairy light ceiling, reclaimed wood bar and the views!
I know it is going to be incredible and will be a top and award-winning Cheshire Wedding Venue!
I hope my list has helped in your search for your perfect Cheshire wedding venue and planning your wedding!
All my love
